Bio: Carolyn Arnold
Carolyn joined the fire safety team in November 2007 as a part time educator. She began her career in the fire service as an explorer with the North Greece Fire Department when she was in high school. In 1994 she became a volunteer firefighter with North Greece and soon obtained certification as an EMT. She has been active in the Fire Prevention and Life Safety Committee, and currently serves as Vice President of the Fire Department. Full time, Carolyn works at Unity Park Ridge Hospital as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit. She has also worked as an RN in the pediatrics department at Rochester General Hospital. Her nursing has allowed her to work with children affected with asthma as a counselor at “Asthma Camp” sponsored through Via Health. When not working or volunteering, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her dog and her nieces.
