Children at this grade level receive a creative reading, writing and acting out program titled, "Acting Out Fire Safety." There they work in teams to read about different fire safety messages and then act out a story to explain it to other students in their class. In the spring, we do a video presentation to discuss the dangers of playing with fire as well as the safe handling of gasoline.
