New Pickups

In April, 2005 the grass fire truck (#2717) was outfitted with a brush fire skid unit purchased with grant funding ($12,650) secured by Senator Joseph Robach. The addition of this equipment makes the vehicle extremely versatile for off-road operations, typically grass and field fires. The skid unit includes a 200 gallon water tank, 250 gpm pump, 200' of booster hose, and 200' of forestry hose.

In February 2005, NG put into service vehicle #2727—a red 2005 Ford F350 4x4 Pickup housed at HQ. This heavy-duty, multi-purpose vehicle is equipped with a 9' snowplow, towing capabilities, and will serve North Greece well for many years.
