Reilich Voice Recorder Grant:

On Thursday February 22, 2007, Assemblyman William Reilich visited the Communications Office of the North Greece Fire District. Assemblyman Reilich secured approximately $11,000.00 from the State for the purchase of a Digital Voice Logging Recorder to replace the Fire District’s outdated recorder. The new state-of the-art recorder is a critical piece of equipment used by the Fire District’s Public Safety Dispatchers for retrieving phone and radio messages. The North Greece Communication Office dispatches over 8000 calls each year for the North Greece and Lake Shore Fire Districts as well as the Greece Volunteer Ambulance.

Public Safety Dispatcher Heidi Boehl (seated) is shown demonstrating the new Digital Voice Logging Recorder to Assemblyman Reilich.
