Service Award Presentation (7/24/2007) On July 24, 2007, the Board of Fire Commissioners presented Commissioner Ken Preston with his Service Award Entitlement Benefit. Commissioner Preston’s family joined the Board in recognizing his distinguished 45-year fire service career. Paul Puckett also received his Service Award Entitlement Benefit for almost 10 years of volunteer service. Congratulations to both! |

Firefighter Ed Pink Iraq Assignment (7/17/2007) FF Ed Pink has been notified he will now leave on July 30th heading to Houston, TX for orientation (3-4 days) after which time he will be deployed to Iraq (most likely Baghdad) and assume his responsibilities as a firefighter for a private firm. Athena DWI Drill (4/27/2007) The North Greece Fire Department and Athena High School, put on a mock DWI car crash at Athena. The Junior and Senior classes were given a very emotional presentation by fellow students and emergency personnel. |
